I am a post graduate in Physics and did  my PhD and Licentiate in Engineering from Lulea University of Technology, Kiruna, Sweden. I have extensive experience in satellite remote sensing and radiative transfer modelling. My research interests include Infrared and Microwave remote sensing of Earth’s atmosphere, Radiative transfer modeling and Inversion algorithms, Science of extreme events using observations and models, wind profiler data processing and analysis and understanding the dynamics of tropical upper troposphere/lower stratosphere.
