Light, portable, and accurate measurement of particles 0.3 to 10 micrometers. Capable of measuring both particle concentration and particle size distribution as frequently as once per second (1 Hz), the Optical Particle Sizer (OPS) is a valuable tool in numerous applications, ranging from filter testing to industrial measurements, as well as indoor monitoring. For outdoor monitoring, sometimes the OPS is placed in TSI's weatherproof Environmental Enclosure. The OPS uses single particle counting technology to measure particles from 0.3 to 10 µm in 16 user adjustable size channels. The measured particles can also be collected on a built-in filter for further analysis. The instrument is battery powered for up to 20 hours, and its large color touchscreen is easy to use.
